Just for info Mplayer dotpup doesn't seem to work for Puppy 1.0.5rc . Compiled the newest Mplayer and gui into 1.0.5rc and it works. Used a plugin from another live distro cd. I had to put in libpng(thanks to slackware). Have also put in Streamtuner, XMMS both work , installed them from dotpup and they work. LinNeighborhood works now. Thanks to all Duke

i'm using mplayer right now in 1.0.5rc, and it seems to work ok ... i didn't get the mplayer browser plugin to work well, so i didn't make a plugin package ... and it isn't configured to use the realplayer libs

the roxapp icon is broken (a symlink to an icon that is no longer there), but i don't see any other problems

the symlink to the gaim icon in the icewm tray is also broken
