Well it is up to Robert which he decides (based on advisement) but if mouse gestures has zooming (maybe with a page of tuition) it would be the better option . . . Smile

I have been experimenting with linux mint on a few of the newer machines (just to see what the rest of the linux world is on with...I havnt really tried much apart from puppy). They have a custom default start page online, which includes a basic google search, but also many other useful things as well, inluding the latest community news and links to the Linux Mint websites and support forums.

I think this would be a good choice for puppy because it allows users to keep informed on the latest news and links to the support community on a start page that they can use every day as it includes a google search.

While I love LinuxMint (I came across it during the Cassandra Beta phase) it requires too recent a kernel for the older machines I'm having troubles with getting to run Puppy later than 2.11

The most recent Ubuntu (which Mint is based on of course) that will run on those older computers seems to be 5.10

when it comes to linux mint, Lets just say I have 3 favorite Linux distros's
1st Puppy
2nd&3rd tied Myah os & Linux Mint both about the same size around 700MB and both just work excellent Smile I can run the larger dvd distro's. But why would you if your happy with 700MB or less. I've been using Myah for almost 3years and Linux Mint for about 2 years.
