Hi
First a very positive comment on Chubby Puppy 1.0.4 -- I have just tried several live CD Linux distros, incl Mepis, Ubuntu, PC Linux and Knoppix and find Puppy the most functional on 2 computers I have tried so far--particularly the ability to save configuration to the CD and the ease of setup, video compatibility, playing a DVD etc. So thank you very much to the developers...
I am new to Linux, having installed Suse 9.1 on a spare hard drive but had difficluties with my video card and did not find it very stable.
Running an ASUS P4P800 deluxe motherboard with integrated intel sound (sound max). But no sound as yet..
The modprobe and IDE probe utility shows the module as loaded, but no sound (yes I checked the mixer). I attach a couple of screenshots.
Also note that the RAID controller (Promise Fasttrak TX 4000) is seen, but no modules. I do have drivers for Suse 9.1 but am unsure of how to use them in this context.
I would appreciate any suggestions,
No sound from integrated Intel; no RAID modules

Sound
Yes the sound did work in suse, perhaps the second module mentioned in suse is what is needed?
Pardon my ignorance, but is there a link you might have to something describing how I would load the RAID module?
