Change the face and others

I'am new to Puppy.
How can i change the graphics desktop to other (xface,gnome,kde)
Simply download it and install it?
Is this any service to keep update puppy? (like up2date in redhat)
I want to use only for web-programming?
So can i install web-server,php,sql,java?
