Bluetooth in Wine.

#1 Post by Béèm »

I have a iDream USB dongle and a K700i phone.
I installed the nice program that came with the dongle, which is called Bluesoleil and this installs at the same time the drivers (windows) for the dongle.
This program permits (in a GUI way) to connect to the phone, do ftp, connect to internet etc...
I get the program running, but most options are grayed out.
I suspect there is some driving problem.

Should I also install some kind of support in Puppy before the dongle is seen in Wine?
Time savers:
Find packages in a snap and install using Puppy Package Manager (Menu).

The greyed out options are for things like PAN networking that the phone doesn't support. Most phones only support file transfer, and possibly use as audio headsets and modems. Very few offer networking or serial emulation over bluetooth.

In fact, ftp, dun, fax services are grayed out as well.
I looks like the program Bluesoleil under Wine doesn't see the dongle.

Hence my question: What are the requirements.
