1.0.5 is out! |
|
As you guys already know 1.0.5 is out!
One bug has emerged, a problem with installing to hard drive,
Option 2.
Problem is, this bug was brought to my attention with 1.0.5rc,
but I installed to h.d. and it worked perfectly, so I was left puzzled why they had that problem.
There is a fix, see links:
http://www.murga.org/~puppy/viewtopic.php?t=2495
I'll start a 1.0.5 bugs thread to continue this!

Can't wait to try 1.0.5 |

I' ve been patiently waiting for Puppy 1.0.5 too.
When i followed the link on the Puppy Download page at:
"For those who want the "Rolls Royce" version of Puppy Linux, Chubby Puppy includes OpenOffice, and the live-CD is 96M. Chubby is kindly hosted by babbs (Forum name) at http://www.puppy.wise-guy.us/."
i found "puppy-chubby-1.0.4-mozilla-openoffice.iso (96.1M)".
Will there be a Chubby 1.0.5??

Will there be a Chubby 1.0.5??
I didn't bother, as the new PCCC CD-remaster script makes it easy to build any kind of custom Puppy.
But, I guess, since there is already a 1.0.4 Chubby, people would
like a ready-to-go 1.0.5 Chubby, so I'll do it later today.
