Hi agnath123,
without knowing what you've downloaded, it's hard to give you any advice on it's installation/usage.
But I'm curious why you would need to download puppy packages? Firstly because the drivers are available at linuxant, secondly because I'd think there would be far more resources available via debian.
Anyway, I don't know if you're aware that the driver, for a 2.6 kernel, is speed limited to 14.4Kbps, unless you pay $US20 for a license. (There is no restriction if using 2.4 kernel).
Didnt somebody use the old 2.4 source and somehow compile them for 2.6 kernel, well at least for one of the connexant modems thus circumventing the requirement of paying? I dont know if anybody made a pkg for them?
