Virtual Puppy

#1 Post by markf »

As a user of VMware's virtualisation products I was interested to see that they now provide a free (as in beer) player for running virtual environments. They provide a couple of images on their site, but the smallest is a 'Browser Appliance' that is over 200 Meg. It's based on Ubuntu and takes an age to start. I've packaged up puppy-1.0.5-mozilla into a virtual image and put it at http://www.longbeak.com/VirtualPuppy-1.0.5-mozilla.zip , checksum http://www.longbeak.com/VirtualPuppy-1.0.5-mozilla.txt . Its about 57M in size.

Mark.
