what happened to double click roll-up/shading/shaddow ? |
|
I think I'm using JWM in a new puppy 3.01, and the official JWM web page says "double click the title bar will shaddow the window. Not on this puppy. It maximises the window.
It does have "Shade" in the menu, but nothing seems to reference double clicking or shade in the preferences in .jwm/...
Any suggestions anyone about how to get double click to shade? - or atleast point me to the documentation for JWM...
bloody xml
Petr
ps perhaps this shouldn't go to projects - fat fingers caused it

Double-click to shade was the old behaviour, and that part of the documentation is out of date Rolling the mouse wheel shades, but if you need double-click to, then you'll need to either go back to JWM 1.5, bribe Joe to make mouse bindings configurable, or have a look at the source from an old version and see if you can hack that behaviour back in (it might be really easy). Or you could use another WM. I think Openbox is so configurable you can make it appear to be JWM

Thanks Disciple,
documentation is such a pain
I will a) try and get the wheel on my laptop working, mail Joe, and check out the source.
How can people live without multiple workspaces and shadable windows !
