During the Puppy Party I was put to task in creating a new "Buy CD" page. Here is what I came up with. I also made a sample news page that supports RSS 2.0 and embedded Podcasts (I have embedded a sample pod-cast for those of you with iPodder). I will be taking this site down once people get a chance to look at it and give me the thumbs up, or send me back to the drawing board.

It looks like it could use a bit more color.

I added some more of Barry's page. There are still broken links and plank pages, but you should be able to get the idea.

To push the 'Buy CD' aspect the 'Purchase CD' needs to have more focus on it as in size and location on the page.

I typically use Rapidweaver to create the initial interface and then use Zend Studio for the PHP and additional html code.

Also the graphics take too long to load, maybe one larger screenshot displaying some open programs, some of the background and the desktop icons.

You need the 1.0.5 desktop screenshot to be current and the mission statement could be further down the page. Give people a preview of the desktop early in the page to grab attention.

A description of what Puppy is i.e.

A desktop operating system that is an alternative to Windows (r).

just under the logo and bring the applications section up under the screenshot.
