Can Puppy do better than 800x600 on Compaq IPAQ?

I've got an old Compaq IPAQ desktop PC (1Ghz P3, 256MB Ram) I purchased on Ebay. There are a lot of these type PC's on Ebay and they go for a song -- and would make great Puppy Linux machines.

Anyway, under Windows 2000, the IPAQ will do 1280x1024 16k video resolution but with Puppy Linux 1.0.5, I can only get 800x600. The video is Intel 82815. Is there any way to configure 'puppy' to work at higher video resolutions?

Thanks

Carl

Hi, I have got 2 ipaqs from ebay for app. 60Eur..
Just USB keyboard+mouse. I810 video..

I remastered puppy to include in /etc/rc.d/rc.local0 just before call to rc.local:
modprobe usbkbd
modprobe keybdev

Than I installed xord682c.pup (thanks Mark). After 1s boot came up with
640x480. edited /etc/X11/xorg,conf and replaced Driver vesa with i810.
Changed mode entries to just 1280x1024...
Works!!
