How can I force Puppy to use 1024x768?

How can I force Puppy to use 1024x768 in my monitor? I have dual boot, XP & Puppy, my M$-windows is using 1024x768 and i know my monitor does support it without any problems. In Puppy, it's just 800x600. Is there any file I need to edit? Is modeline supported in Puppy?

If the XVesa wizard does not give you the option, I would recommend installing the Xserver dotpup prepared by MU http://www.murga.org/~puppy/viewtopic.php?t=2303&highlight=xorg+dotpup The only trick there is to configure the xorg.conf file correctly. If you give us your monitor and videocard models, we may recommend you a good configuration. |
