After failing so far to get Gimp to work I was blown away to find Moho works.
Moho is a 2D animation program. It's not free but you can make movies that bear a water mark. This is removed from existing movies after if you decide to buy...check out their web site at :

Download Moho_linux_5.2.1.zip
make sure you don't get the 5.2.1 ...not 5.2 version...it didn't work for me.
After download just click on it in Rox file manager...and away it goes.
I haven't tested it yet but you can see an additional screen shot at:

I've put a message on the Moho web site so we may be getting some more puppy converts.

Looks like an excellent program. I don't know of open source animation programs - would be fun to use some? As far as I know there is a console program gifsicle in Puppy that needs some smart cooky to construct a GUI

I hope they go for it...itcould be a benefit to both Puppy and Moho by having extra users.
