Just bought one of these at Staples for $50 (well, $120 - $70 "easy rebate", and they throw in $12 in rewards points).
Very nice, faster than my HP1000.
Installing on Puppy 3.0 running on a Neoware thin client (1GHz, 256MB RAM, 256MB CF card) was simple. Just copy two files from Samsung's web site download, per instructions @www.linuxprinting.org. Works perfectly.
Puppy runs beautifully on this hardware, very fast. I have to queue for access with my family - no one wants to use the s l o o o w Windoze XP box anymore.
Now if I can just get the Griffin RocketFM working...
Samsung ML-2510 Laser Printer
Also works on 2.17
I just installed the Samsung ML-2510 drivers on Puppy 2.17. The process was simple and the printer prints flawlessly.
If you want a inexpensive ($50 USD) monochrome laser printer that works well on Linux, the ML-2510 is a good choice.
