Thanks, Puppian, and cheers to that new initiative, Lobster.

FYI, Puppian has been using the Wiki as you would write an HTML page, a feature supported by Wikka, like this mini how-to. The last link he put above is one of his page maps of the Wiki.

FYI, too, Lobster is our best-qualified Public Relations Officer, though nobody remembered the PRO post during the Sept 30 meeting at IRC. He works great at it, though

Oh that is what PRO is . . .

I though it involved standing on street corners offering a good time to penguins. Think I will stick to my role as official cructacean.

I also think Lobster is doing a great job.
Can I make a nomination?

Sure Puppian. I nominated myself Public Relations Officer. Not only did I nominate myself. I also voted myself in.
:?

Once we are in we will do some proper electing but for now acting is the same as doing. I am looking for a deputy PRO - in Hong Kong - you are nominated Puppian - any objections? Carried . . . congratulations.

8) Ah democracy - who needs it . . .

Thanks Lobster :)

Since for now acting is the same as doing, I'll be volunteering for documentation as well ;)

Here are the efforts I have made and will continue to make:

1. Puppy link in my E-mail sig (I participate in several dozen lists across a broad variety of topics, some of them have over 1,000 members).

2. Repeatedly recommend Puppy any time a recommendation is requested for a preferred Linux distro on a discussion list.

3. Recommend to developers of task-specific Linux apps that they consider linking their app to Puppy (at least one, an accounting app, has joined the Puppy forum).

4. Put a link to Puppy on my Web page.

5. Recommend Puppy to friends -- and yes, I'd love a CD label design and a recommended printer to go with it! Can that label be formatted for full size CD's, round mini-CD's, and "credit card mini-CD's, please?

6. I'd like to convert our church to Puppy but haven't found a good church management Linux app to go with it. I plan to also include wireless access as part of the whole church deployment.
