Cannot install Chubby 1.0.5 to hard disk

Hi again,

I thought I needed to update this topic as I still cannot install 1.0.5 to hard disk but I never said this applied to Chubby only - I just tried regular 1.0.5 and everything is fine.

I reckon the best thing to do is to install regular Puppy and (provided an ADSL connection is available) download and install OpenOffice into pup001 so that it does not get loaded into RAM from the first time. Which I have not done yet. I find that for most day-to-day work, both Abiword and the Excel lookalike application supplied with regular 1.0.5 are quite enough.

The problem with Chubby was (and is): after creating the floppy etc it tries to boot and comes up with a message like FAT bogus something and stops short. Went back to 1.0.4 and worked with no problems. BTW hard disk is OK and have been putting it through chkdsk (windows) all the time.
