where are the profiles from the network wizard stored?
I have a profile that works with wNOP. I set up a new save file after I rebooted (running in RAM) I got my card working (redownload drivers and instaled). but I cant get the connection to work. I would like to copy the profile from the save file that works to try in my new save file.
EDIT: I got it working I don't really know what I did differently to make it work, my guess is I have a network key that has a typo? and if you try to enter it a hundred or so times it gets reproduced??? I would like an to know where those profiles are stored so I can try to avoid this next time. thanks

I know this has been answered not too long ago, but can't remember where exactly.
Maybe by using the puppysearch link in my sig, you can find it.

Time savers:
Find packages in a snap and install using Puppy Package Manager (Menu).

This might be the thread you're thinking about Béèm, I was reading it too. The topic was, where does the wizard store its data.

Maybe you could check and notify shr1k if it is the correct one.

Yes nipper that was the one.
By this shr1k is adviced as well.
P.S. could you make a link clickable, much easier for everyone.
To do so, in the composition panel select the link and push on the URL tag.

I know how to make a link clickable, it is my choice to not do so. It is not my opinion that it makes it "much easier for everyone". I look at it that anyone who wants to use it can copy and paste. I might link a URL if I thought I was dealing with a rank newbie, but I know you are not. I have no quarrel with your opinion, nor am I likely to change mine. However, if the forum software is ever optioned to automagically link URLs, I won't try to defeat it. Shalom.Béèm wrote:Yes nipper that was the one.

This forum doesn't open automatically for link referenced as you do.
It's not a matter of being a newbee or not but a matter of willingness to make it easier for everyone.
Most more experienced posters here make their link clickable.
Your reaction only displays some aspect of your character.
OK be happy.

My reply (not reaction) was setting boundaries. I expressed my different opinion. Apparently you are not as able to accept my opinion as I am to accept your right to yours.
My willingness to help the poster is the only important aspect to my posts. Did you note that I did not try to send the OP off to another search site and that I did give the needed URL? Even when you checked the URL you didn't post a "link" to it, so you don't "do as you say". I did not try to send the poster off to give a hit to another search site, if I was going to suggest searching I would suggest the one in the forum where the hits contribute to financing the forum itself.
You follow up one patronising post with another patronising one, that tells me about your personality.
I am neither inexperienced in forums, or life.
You be happy too. and as I wrote previously, shalom.
