Firefox 74.0 is broken

#1 Post by nubc »

Does Mozilla know how bad Firefox browser has gotten in the last couple versions? Firefox freezes or becomes inoperable after 10 minutes online.

Tahrpup 6.0.5, 32-bit

Looks like I started with Firefox Quantum 60.0 and updated from there.

Wow, ad blocker is working fine in this old version of Pale Moon. Ad blocker doesn't work at all in the recent versions of FF. What is the current version of Pale Moon? Honestly, I'm afraid to upgrade something that is working so well. Conversely, YT videos won't play in a newly updated Firefox, until I reboot once or twice.

As far as ad-blocking in the recent versions of Quantum is concerned, take a look at either uBlock Origin, or AdGuard. Both are available as FF extensions, and both work very well for me in various Puppies running current FF.

Mike.
