I have this printer and was trying to get it going in puppy 4.00 and was not having much luck. I had the ppd file from my ubuntu install but still no love. I then used the puppy package manager to install the latest cups. Still didn't work but I did get a clue...rastertosamsungspl file missing. Huh, well a quick google search and I pulled this file from my /usr/lib/cups/filter folder in Ubuntu and I have printing.
