Barrage 1.0.2 SDL Game Series 2,3,4

#1 Post by ttuuxxx »

Barrage is a rather violent action(Lol Yeah right) game with the objective to kill and destroy as many targets as possible within 3 minutes. You control a gun that may either fire small or large grenades at soldiers, jeeps and tanks.

Targets are fast paced and require careful aiming as it takes half a second to reload the gun. Additionally you have to keep an eye on your ammo and reload in time. Useful to kill some minutes of idle time.

And yes, the graphics look similiar to Command&Conquer but they are self-pixeled.

You need SDL + SVGLIBS to use this game, I made up all 3 packages, Man I wish they would increase the 1MB max upload on here to like 5MB
Anyways it all works just fine :)

Hey ttuuxxx,

why the need for more space? I didn't think it needed svgalib? It will work fine with SDL .pet/.pup available elsewhere on the forum. So you're just left with the 400kbyte barrage.

Leaving aside that it's also available elsewhere as a .pup, you can also compile it to use .png, instead of .bmp, and .ogg instead of .wav, and get it down to 250+k.

Sure you could do that, but I've seen time and time again people using rapidshare for less than 5MB, It just would be handy, Not everyone has server access I do offer 40MB uploads on my forum, but you have to be logged in to download software from it.

Yes, valid point. Rapidshare now has a silly captcha scheme involving detecting cats around the letters, and it can take me several goes before I'm successful at gaining access.
