*****UPDATED*****

Hello well I remastered EzPup and everything is fixed and ready to go
- 1st Added One libidn.so.11 missing dependencies
-2nd Fixed BLINKY with a new blinky that I remastered graphically, now it starts and stays started even when changing themes, no longer have to restartX and loose all your webpages, open folders etc.
-3rd Fixed FreeMemory applet, I recompiled it and added new links to the right click menu - Pprocess, and ttuuxxxView, It starts automtically, plus its now black!,

Did not touch xinitrc what so ever !!!

enjoy ttuuxxx

http://www.puppylinux.ca/tpp/ttuuxxx/ot ... -4.0v5.pet

To start this version just install and click
menu/Shutdown/Restart X Server

no need to exit X now :)

ttuuxxx

Ps a working volume control on the taskbar is impossible at this point, I've tried about 40 different volume apps etc, and nothing worked

and that Erics server has failed 2 downloads so far of this new package. So I'll remove the link.
Icewm 1.2.32 (I think). I was going to upgrade it to 1.2.34 but don't remember if I got that done before uploading.

I've only just finished uploading, so that's probably why Eric's server was giving you a hard time. Try again now.

Check for extra spaces inside the tags, Eric. I'm sure that's your problem because the tags have broken over 2 lines in your post.

Cheers, and you're welcome! :P

ttuuxxx wrote:I also don't have blinky or freememory applet showing?
A known bug with blinky causes it to "disappear" from the taskbar when you change themes. Restarting X brings him back. Freememapplet has been left out on purpose. If you have a bugfixed version for Dingo, by all means include it, but the versions I had just wouldn't run properly under Dingo.
ttuuxxx wrote:Also Volume control is missing from the taskbar.
Not part of EZpup-4.0 - an issue with Dingo's volume app and Icewm?
ttuuxxx wrote:Still running live and for the first time ever Seamonkey has lost my profile and I had to make a new one just to use the net. I never even knew that Seamonkey had different profiles? strange. When it did open up it went straight to the seamonkey homepage where it said that the version on 4.0 is outdated and should be updated straight away.
There are NO configuration settings for Seamonkey or any other application in EZpup-4.0. That is a Dingo issue. The only application that is included with EZpup, apart from IceWM, is MU's Cursor Selector.

the existing absvolume volume control should play nicely with icewm. Does it work if you start it from the prompt. Maybe the delay before it starts is too short to give ice a chance to start properly.

Naa thats not the problems abs is acting like a mute button its either full volume or none.
Same with SGmixer
Thats why I removed my link for the updated version I made. The icon I put on the taskbar launches SGmixer perfectly but the volume control is either full or off.
At present I', trying to find a replacement

I've compiled and deleted about 10 so far and they all have the same problem. Is there some certain way of installing a new sound mixer, like some sort of sound config file I should be editing?
included is one of the mixers, looks real sharp, same problem , grrrr

Hi,
Could you tell me if the IceWM still requires double click on desktop icons or can it be switched to single click.

many thanks

Desktop icons are controlled by ROX and not IceWM. They are single click by default, but can be set to double click using ROX-Filer>Options>Pinboard and unchecking "single click to open" in Pinboard options.

Try rarsa's Pvolume. That always worked perfectly for me in earlier versions of EZpup, and it looks almost as nice as the one you liked but had the problems with.

Thanks for updating EZpup-4.0 to v3. I tried your fixes and they worked fine so far - especially blinky staying put when you switch themes. Good job!

Cheers

Well its the least I can do for you, You've helped me in the past and If it wasn't for your icewm you put into 2.15ce I wouldn't be here, That was the turning point for me to stick around. So let this just be a way of saying thank you :D

Oops! Just realised that is a tcl/tk based application, so it won't be directly supported in Dingo. Sorry.
