I found a script (actually 3 scripts in the package) in an article that will wipe the freespace on your hard drive. There is one for wiping the swap file, and another which will wipe an entire hard drive too. I doubt that the wipe this performs is thorough enough to be on the same level as eraser in windows, but it will overwrite your deleted files. The script(s) can be downloaded from here: http://www.ihud.com/file.php?file=1129514954/wipe-945.gz
