Well I came across this 1.6MB theme and liked it but hey 1.6MB for puppy noway, So I ripped it to shreds and Used the Orange Citrus theme as the base and mucked around until I was happy, Basically its 156kb now, LOL 1/10 the Original size, Anyways enjoy and feel free to paste your GTK themes here, And admins could you sticky this post, Since this isn't a JWM or ICEWM theme.

Gradient Grey Scroll bars upgrade, I made this one up from a icewm theme that Mu found, and basically I took the Scroll bar code/images from it and added it overtop the default Gradient-grey that puppy 4 comes with. Worked out nicely. I did have this posted in the icewm section, but others are looking for GTK2 themes and figured maybe its time for this thread to take off?
Once installed select Gradient Grey from your Menus/Desktop.Chtheme Gtk Theme Chooser

Unpack them in /usr/share/themes.
Then use the GTK-Theme-Chooser (or whatever it's called) from the menu.

Awesome! Thanks!

Edit: Man, those look great! With this thread and the JWM themes exchange thread, I can have JWM look anyway I want! Well done!

that would be a great default theme if we added the modern theme to seamonkey.

speaking of such, why is modern theme not bundled with puppy, if you can get it, can you help me get it?

Hey ttuuxxx,

I installed the pet and it appeared to work just fine, but Seamonkey is still reporting 1.1.8. Did I miss something?

Have been fiddling about, trying to make a new look with a gtk theme. Without knowing much about how it all works, merely some mods to a copy and a bit of time spent trial&error and checking the results. So far it's almost useable, as far as I can tell; the main hangup for me being a foreground-text issue on active tabs (screenshot here ). Would appreciate any help from the gtk-gurus here if they're not too terribly occupied with all the holiday stuff, etc :) - the attached NUdark.zip is NOT a finished product-as-such (but any advice on how to fix would be welcome, thanks).
