Looks interesting. Yes, I have the SDL and QT. I thought this was the kernel used - not sure. Maybe it's not meant to run in Nop 4.0 r1? See screenshots.

that will show the kernel version.
Also, could you verify the md5sum of the .pet?

I got a matching checksum, but the list of dependencies is too long for the screen. Appears in the Utilities menu but does nothing. Terminal does not find virtualbox. No problem - some other day

Here is the icon from VBox Win 1.6.0.
You may prefer it to the Linux one, I do.

First off, WolfPup, muchos gracias for the package, brilliant! I've gotten Mac OS X, Xp and vista to run just fine (OS X is quirky, but mswin is spot on)..... the one problem i've had, is that i can seem to find anywhere to change where/if it logs...currently the pkg logs to root, and these files gain space quickly... I've quickly rtfm and ive googled a bit, but still have had no luck, i was wondering if anyone else had run into this?
eg.

HI El, I read some where on virtualbox forum that it is a known bug and you can change a line to stop logging till it gets sorted. Sorry don't know exactly where
Cheers
Tony

I installed VirtualBox 1.64 using the three pets. I used ROX-Filer to install the pets and wasn't given an option where to install, so the VirtualBox app ended up on the windows partition under root.
I was able to place the virtual disk on a second partition I created (but instead of the recommended 10 G, I allocated only 3, because the whole partition only has 9 gig).
That all seemed to be fine.
My question is can I use VirtualBox to boot my existing WinXP installation on hda1 as a guest OS or do I need to do a second install using my original WinXP CD (saving the system files on the new 3 gig Virtual Disk on my new 9 gig ext3 partition)?
I saw a thread on the Ubuntu forums discussing this and mentioning that it is possible, but required using a pseudo mbr instead of the usual VirtualBox bootloader.
