modprobe vboxdrv

This should load the required kernelmodule.

When I modprobed I got an error message saying "Invalid module format" so after trying a few other things I went to sasaqqdan's link above.

Once you have it installed with bootmanager follow the instructions in /opt/VirtualBox-2.1.2/UserManual.pdf

VirtualBox 1.x added 2.6.25.16 kernel.

Added VirtualBox Guest Additions link to labradors .pet.

I downloaded the 3 files and installed them and it works like a charm in Puppy 4.2! All I need now is to download the guest additions. Thanks Wolf Pup!!
