I have found xfburn very nice and fully functional.pburn is good but needs lots of dependencies.
Any place where one can download xfburn?! and can it function without xfce.?

Great if you get xfburn to run on your Puppy, but I have to correct you about that Pburn needs lots of dependencies. In fact, Pburn has probably the smallest amount of dependencies compared to what it does. And if you don't burn videos, you can skip dvdauthor, vcdimager, vobcopy and vamps. Normalize is also for special users, and are not needed for average use. For burning datas / iso-image / audio-CD, you need along with cdrkit/cdrtools: Pburn, Pfilesearch, gtklogviewer and gtkdialog. All these are together around 100 kb. This also support copy (data and audio) / blank disc / cdtext / make iso-image.
The only dependency that will not be included in Puppy 4.1 seems to be vcdimager. So everything should be available right in front of your nose
I'll make a note about core-dependencies and optional in the Pburn-post
Good luck with xfburn!!!
