How do I add user accounts other than root?

I tried useradd but bash doesnt recognize this.

I know in Zenwalk, the script is 'adduser' (rather than 'useradd'), but I don't know whether that works in Puppy, as I haven't tried it.

tinylogin supports a limited adduser

But the real question here is. What do you want to do with the new user?

I have a hard drive install and other non-puppy partitions mounted, with a live ethernet connection. I'd rather run as an ordinary user for security purposes.
