The first application is a command line dictionary.
It comes with instructions. The instructions go to /root/ if you want to read them. Also MU made a gui for dict. install dict.pup then PB-dict.pup below
And this link is for the thesaurus.
It has a menu-item as well
It also comes with instructions. It has a command line action
as well as a gui named gaiksaurus.

The instructions for the thesaurus are in /usr/local/share/aiksaurus/
http://aiksaurus.sourceforge.net/
Thanks to MU for putting the finishing touches on the thesaurus/aiksaurus
dotpup. And thanks to Bruce B. for posting about the command-line dictionary. The original thread, http://www.murga.org/%7Epuppy/viewtopic ... light=dict

If you use a puppy older than 1.0.5, you will have to install these two Dotpups, too:
PuppyBasic: http://www.murga.org/%7Epuppy/download.php?id=901 and
Gtkdialog2: http://www.murga.org/%7Epuppy/download.php?id=875
They are very small

Thanks guys
I already had PuppyBasic installed, I just downloaded GTKDialog and installed and it worked.
See image below.
But ........... I could not get any answers. I had the same problem with WGet once and I solved it by putting a file named wgetrc in /root and writing it like this.
http_proxy = 192.168.1.1:8080
https_proxy = 1921.168.1.1:8080
and I was able to to download files with it.
Can something like this be done for dict ?
