i just downloaded the latest copy of Puppylinux and was checking it out when i tried to install a printer. I am using an Epson CX5400. When i go to the first page I put in a name for the printer then click next. nothing happens. Would like to use Puppylinux but if i can not install printers it is useless. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using pup4? When you ran the printer wizard, and selected Add Printer->Name->Continue->Device etc, when you came to the section where you need to enter a driver, did it have the option of Epson Stylus Cx5400 CUPS+Gutenprint?
As linuxprinting.org lists gutenprint as the preferred driver for this printer. If that selection isn't available, you could try another Epson printer with a similar model number, maybe Epson Stylus Cx5300 CUPS+Gutenprint.
You would also need to select it as the default printer.
