If you go to this address

you can find the Linux program to access SecondLife.
It works on PuppyLinux?
I tried but unfortunately does not work.
Thank you.

Is this of any interest/use for a faster Secondlife experience?

My adventures continue . . .
One interesting feature was at a group meet; a French guy turned up. He typed in French and SecondLife translated - and very well.
I wonder how well with other languages?
I upgraded my hardware

but found the real trick was just changing the amount of graphic detail in preferences . . .

I have an ATI card so I had a harder time to try it. Unfortunately, my graphics driver is weird so it did not work. It started to run though but the graphics were all jumbled up. I'm sure it works well if you have an nVIDIA card though.
Puppy 4.3.1 + Sansa Express MP3 Player + 10GB USB Flash Drive = My triple threat OS.
I consider myself a Turritopsis Nutricula.

I have found SL stable and usable and my motherboards built in Nvidia card is working fine. There seems to be a lot of women in SL compared to other areas of computing and everyone seems keen to chat. I think it is early days but it is growing exponentially. At the moment the language used is 'c' like but they intend to go over to MONO which is based on .NET and java like. However building capacity is built in and is similar to Blender or other 3D drawing . . .if you have an nVIDIA card though
It is a whole new world
