Hi all,
This is 'whois' pet package for puppylinux 4.0. If you want 'whois' for 3.0, then try big_bass's repo( http://www.puppylinux.ca/tpp/big_bass/whois-4.7.26.pet ).
More info: http://mohan34u.wordpress.com/2008/08/24/whois-pet-package/
Feel free to correct my mistakes.
Always,
Mohan R

Thanks for this. Personally... I think this is something that should be included in every OS on the planet. Its only a few K, so its not like it takes up much space.

If you have firefox you can download a addon called "domain name details" it gives you:
1. Every IP address of every site.
2. Whois
3. Server headers.
4. And more information.

KusaNoKaito,
there are tons of sites online that will give you this info, some of us however like to do these things from the CL. depending on the task, doing a whois via CLI is just alot faster than opening a browser, going to a site, etc.
Lots of good sites for this though if you are online.
DNStools.com
Robtex.com
As I see that you are new here... welcome.
