(old)Puppy Linux Discussion Forum

Ok so i'm not very good with linux but i can follow directions wickedly. I installed puppy 400 with help from the chat. I think everything is working good except the sound. the box is a gateway mx3225 laptop and the crappy detailed specs are here.. http://support.gateway.com/s/Mobile/Q10 ... 9sp2.shtml

I can't figure this out and i really don't want to open the box up. I tried all the options in the sound wizard and none of them worked. Some one had mentioned taking an xp driver and "extracting" the base for puppy?? no idea what that's about but i will try anything shy of tearing open the box.

if you need more info i'll do my best.. thanks who ever helps lol.
