How do I uninstall puppy from my hd?

#1 Post by ivansv »

i've installed puppy to my C drive(win2k) to try it out, like it so much i gave it its own part.-ext2-and installed it. my problem now is uninstalling it from my C drive. i've looked for it but can't find any reference to it on C.
if anybody knows a way to remove, would appreciate it. thanks in advance and look forward to joining the puppy community.

If you have the Windows installation disk, run "fixmbr" from it. That will overwrite the boot sector of your hard drive with the default Windows bootloader.

(I repair professional flash photography equipment.)

I guess I don't understand what you mean when you say you have Puppy "installed" on your C drive. If you mean that Puppy is a file in your Windows system partition, you can simply delete the file from within Windows as you would with any other file.

I think it is
c:\pup001
c:\usr_cram.fs

There also should be image.gz and vmlinuz, I think in c:\boot
