I also put symlinks to the components in /usr/local/bin, so you should be able to run it from the command line with 'soffice' or 'swriter' or 'scalc' ........I could go on. In fact, the jwm menu already has entries in it for OpenOffice, so all you have to do is open .jwmrc and uncomment them and you will have menu entries as well. I'm guessing that this might clash somewhat with Chubby Puppy, however, as the symlinks are probably in the same place. Oh well, I didn't intend this to have to play nice with Chubby anyway.you can open with rox /usr/local/oo2* and find there soffice.
Drag that to the desktop and on you go..
