How to activate underdog in recent Puppys?

#1 Post by mistfire »

I read about the architecture of puppy where in the partition of a other linux distro can be mount by puppy on top layer via underdog. However Barry said that the underdog was not available on recent puppies. Is there any method to activate this feature in recent puppy?

UPDATE: It is still implemented but now it is more usable and improved

Prohibited in France by M?dor !
Unmount SFS before shutdown.. Used only to launch apps.. Because all desktop settings will be broken;

I successfully make a breakthrough in underdog. It is now more usable and less troublesome than before. It is done by hiding the /etc/xdg/autostart files and some /etc/init.d scripts of underdog layer on top layer of aufs then update all the cache files. This method is now implemented on the woof-ce
