Hey folks,

Just installed Teenpup 2008 for a week or 2, and it IS fast!

but just can't seem to get this Lexmark printer Z645 to work on this Teenpup 2008. Search and followed instructions according to http://finebushpeople.net/LexmarkZ600 but Teenpup does not have "alien" to convert rpm packages to deb.

But discovered rpm command and so this :-

#rpm -i z600cups-1.0-1.i386.rpm
xxx blocks
#rpm -i z600llpddk-2.0-1.i386.rpm
xxxx blocks

Say assuming this installation is successful (i think the files are copied to /usr/lib/backend/ ), but don't see the printer Z600 series showing up in printer wizard.

I was also careful to modify the local port to /dev/usb/lp0 to make a test print for generic-text-driver, under Printer Management. Nothing from printer.

Any suggestions? Thanks pal
