Portege 650ct |

I was sitting at work, thinking about my new found obsession - Puppy. I got it working completely on my IBM Thinkpad - I have everything except sound working on my e-Machines Desktop - what can I try next??
Well I have an old Toshiba Portege that is a wonderfully sized little laptop, but with a tiny (I think it's 1G or smaller) HD, and almost no ram, it runs Win 98 terribly slow at best. So I decided to make that my project when I got home today - there should be some challenges... no USB, no CDROM, etc, etc...
Then I run across something on the News page called my CrapTop - so someone has already done this!! Wish me luck - I am a total Newbie, but I hope to be reviving a once completely dead (I considered throwing it away) laptop!!
Thank you, Puppy!!

Awesome...Let us know how it goes. There has been quite a bit posted about sound, but remember help is nearly always available on IRC at #puppylinux
Just click on the chat button at the top of this page and you are there
Welcome to Puppy!
