pidgin 2.5.2 - nss + facebook + gfire plugins

This is my first pet.. hope it works!

I've compiled a version of Pidgin 2.5.2 to run off the seamonkey nss libs from the standard 4.1.1 iso.
Also has the facebook 1.38 plugin from the google code site...

All seems to work from my vmware session... lemme know if you have issues... (fingers crossed)

Pidgin with English only locales: (about 2.5Meg)

Because someone was asking about gfire.. i made a version with the plugin compiled.
Pidgin 2.5.2 with facebook and gfire plugins. English only locale.

With the gfire plugin you need to reload the games list.. details here at their FAQ http://gfire.site40.net/?page_id=22 . i dont use xfire so i havent tested it.

N.B. After u download u need to rename the file to pidgin-2.5.2-i486.pet .. guess the dir2pet uses the original directory name for something. woops!

There was an error expanding package pidgin-2.4.2-i486.tar.gz.
Either the file is corrupted, or has not expanded into its own directory with
name of pidgin-2.4.2-i486/ (which is how most packages expand).
You will have to go into /root/.packages/ directory and manually clean it up.

This script will now exit..

I got that big red ALERT thing. Did rename it, dunno what could've.

Hey mate,
that's a bit of a strange one.. I just installed the package again from the rapidshare download and it seems ok. installed and logged into msn/ facebook/ and gtalk

you may have got an incomplete file.
here's some details of the smaller package

AHhhhh.. i see.. your message said pidgin-2.4.2-i486.pet .. it's supposed to be pidgin-2.5.2-i486.pet. my bad .. i put a spelling mistake in.
