Is there documentation available on this tool's use?

Hello, zigbert :)!

Sorry to admit, I haven't been widgeting much as of lately.
I just took the new lupu525 for a test-run today and thought I'd also try the pwidgets (v. 2.3.1 through quickpet) out.
Tried the (very) few widgets I was responsible for, and saw that the EUR_USD exchange rate widget was broken (not a serious matter at all, I presume, since that widget was only made as a rapid response to a user request - don't know if anyone has been using it, or how long it has been broken).

Anyway, since I noticed it was broken, I fixed it and also took the opportunity to attempt to localise the decimal comma/decimal dot.
I'll attach the two files with names ending in the directories they should go in to + fake .zip extensions to fool the forum software ......

Hei Zigbert
Upon being stopped, Pwidgets screws with my desktop background (i.e. sets the default one). Do not want. :)
(Puppy: Wary511)

Also, could you make it not use the HDD "all the time"..
I for one prefer my HDD spun-down when it isn't needed for a good-enough reason. (This applies to HDD frugal or full installs, I guess.)
Well, I'm sure more people would appreciate less disk activity when not necessary.

Great app otherwise, takk!
I used to only like Puppy as a friend, but now I think our relationship is starting to develop into something more... :D

hey i have a request and or question to ask

so i dl'd this recently and i got the extras pack and everything.
it works great no complaints from me here.

i would like however to get something like this in a widget for something not necessarily cpu+ram but something.

is this possible with pwidgets?

can i just mod the battery config file or the cpu gauge config file to display those images or do i need to something a little more complex like make one from scratch

Turn off sidebar, and Pwidgets will not interfere with wallpaper

I am sorry to say that this is not handled my Pwidgets, but its engine - conky/xonclock/xwinwrap/xli

Pwidgets is optimized to run on the default Puppy desktop (Window manager). You are not running a plain Puppy 5.2.5, and that is probably the problem.

Sorry, I didn't recognize openbox with your setup  :)

What terminal output do you get when running 'fixwidgets' in Urxvt?

FATDOG uses Openbox. Is that why I'm seeing that behavior?

Hope this helps

Accuweather has changed their pages yet again. We used to get the info from the rss feed but it's becoming impossible to find. I did find a database with some but not all codes.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachm ... 1237962161

Maybe we got to change to Yahoo or Google weather as accuweather is fast becoming unfriendly to those who don't want to pay money

Let it be known that a weather forecaster is the only occupation I know of where you can screw it up totally and still get paid. I still like to know the weather forecast though!

How can i customize pwidgets without breaking it? I took out the default analog clock, and a few things happened. The text became white instead of the orange, grey, white theme. Also Puppy Linux 5.2.5 became 5.2.5. And cpu and ram went away as well. Thats alot for just a clock!

I am using pwidgets 2.3.0, its the most recent on quickpet. Should i get the most recent on this thread or is this bug normal?
