Accuweather has changed their pages yet again. We used to get the info from the rss feed but it's becoming impossible to find. I did find a database with some but not all codes.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachm ... 1237962161

Maybe we got to change to Yahoo or Google weather as accuweather is fast becoming unfriendly to those who don't want to pay money

Let it be known that a weather forecaster is the only occupation I know of where you can screw it up totally and still get paid. I still like to know the weather forecast though!

How can i customize pwidgets without breaking it? I took out the default analog clock, and a few things happened. The text became white instead of the orange, grey, white theme. Also Puppy Linux 5.2.5 became 5.2.5. And cpu and ram went away as well. Thats alot for just a clock!

I am using pwidgets 2.3.0, its the most recent on quickpet. Should i get the most recent on this thread or is this bug normal?

re: weather code saga

I have found a way to find the weather code, courtesy of a mobile phone forum! (same forum as the database in my earlier post)

Of course USA users just need the zip code as before.

Take a look at this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpos ... stcount=40
Wink Accuweather codes

To find a code proceed as follows:
Google for netweather.accuweather.com and choose the link.

"Get my netweather"
"Choose location" for example Belfast then Search and select which Belfast for example in United Kingdom
"Next"
"I agree to these terms and conditions"
in the window web page code scroll down until you find EUR|UK|UK002|BELFAST|

That's it, good luck and fun

The calender becomes kind of useless. Since it does not display the current day with color. So any help would be great.

Interesting, do you also know how to fix puppy linux 5.2.5? It displays 5.2.5 only, at moment.

Bug: change line 51 to "Puppylinux -c" in the configs file listed below.

51 $alignc${font}${color0}${exec /usr/local/pwidgets/widgets/scripts/Puppylinux -c} ${color1}${exec /usr/local/pwidgets/widgets/scripts/Puppylinux -a}.${exec /usr/local/pwidgets/widgets/scripts/Puppylinux -b}

/usr/local/pwidgets/widgets/configs/Puppylinux

This did it for me, thanks. Now it shows "Lucid Puppy 5.2.5". Not how it was originally like, but i'm happy with it!

Ugh, ok, I give up: how do I get Drive Space to kick and show me my drive spaces? I've got pwidgets running on Puppy 52. right now it shows that drive space is one of the widgets I selected (Space_drives) but it doesn't list even my home drive. What am I missing?

Anyone? I'm using a Toshiba Tecra laptop and it won't show my drives...it will show Puppy space fine, and it shows "Drive Space" but no drives show up underneath it...any ideas?

I got it working by having active in this order:
Space_drives
Drive_space

Did have to apply several times and had Space_Puppy_Filesystem selected on and off. So may have tripped it to work.
