hey guys i did alsa config and it detected and install everything as it should
but I can't seem to get any sound rather it be with the standard jacks or usb
so idk if i need a special kernel driver or module or what i need to do
one person has told me i need to do a modprobe but was uncertain on how to go about telling me since every computer is different
what should i do guys? Thanks in advance and may you all have a blessed day!

not sure how old any of yer equipment is as i am not up on things

but i have noticed a tendency of older computers to hate alsa

also gateway and dell i have owned had weird hardware and all those system disks

i always go to older puppy's when dealing with antiques

i dunno if that helps or not
