Two puppy repositories down?

both are unavailable right now. Does anyone know if and when they are back?

They seem to be down, I saw a post somewhere that said they were working on it and should be back by Dec. 15th.

The problem is that we rely too much on large repositories. What we need it more small repositories. This way one goes down, we have other ways to access the data.

Specifically what are you looking for Dromeno?

well, to help with a set of smaller servers, we could build a package manager gui which could handle it.

i alrady proposed an idea for a distributed puppy repository, spreading many packages over many smaller servers, even those free webhosting system like box, and even the ability for casual package makers to use systems like filedropper, and be able to release their packages easily.

I have http://www.richardsontb.info/ with Webspace 10GB and Bandwidth 20GB. It's not a lot, but. . .I can send the FTP info to a few key people.
