PupGet has informed me that after installing Firefox into puppy v.1.0.6 multisession, he is in need of some missing library files, which must be installed. So, following his advice I made a written note of the files, but I do not know how to proceed. (In other words, where do I obtain the files, and how do I install them? Will they merely reside in the same folder with the library files, or or are they placed elsewhere?

If there is some reading I need to do, just direct me. Thanks to anyone kind enough to respond.

Have you tried running it?

I got the same messages, but when I next ran Mozilla, it was Firefox!

Hi Reedman ! Very Happy

I'm no expert, so others better informed may have a better answer... but I successfully installed Firefox 1.0.7 without your problem in Puppy 1.0.5, so you might try creating a non-multisession version first , and install Firefox there. Same saved Firefox dl should work, and then you can find the missing dependencies in that install and then copy them into same directory locations in the multi-session version.

A kludge but it might work for right now... hope this helps.

If you use the dotpup firefox installers that GuestTwo made (check on the Wiki) it will install everthing. In fact, you can install it from the Firefox website (I've done this) and it works perfectly. Also, if I remember right, the Firefox that Pupget installs is out of date.
