Thanks guys, I'll put it in puppy gallery later, thought I'd publish it to deviantart first and notify stock photo author.

That's really cool, afgs....
Just a pity we don't get to have a white Christmas here, (more like raging red!), but i've downloaded it anyway just coz i like it
You know one of us is gonna come up with a down-under-style Christmas pupwall but we're a bit slow off the mark....micko must be tangled up in code somewhere...

...we are right there with you...we got like 10 minutes worth of snow a few days ago...that counts, right?russoodle wrote:That's really cool, afgs....

Hi Steve....at least you have some snow, so you should be safe from the bushfires
The North Island of NZ apparently had an unusually extended winter this year - they had some snow-blocked roads until about the end of September, with residual snow still to be seen on the Desert Road in late October, so cheer up, you'll probably really cop it soon, unless the Kiwis decided to keep it all for themselves
Here's a snow-less Christmas one for you:
1280x960, 120kb
1600x1200, 168kb

Too right! ..And I've hit the brick wall! Perhaps some gimping will help me through it...russoodle wrote:That's really cool, afgs....

(but wouldya mind not mentioning 'hot'? my brain turns to mush once the temp gets up past about 32C/90F and i really hate that we frequently suffer 39+C around here.... )
PS: Looks super-impressive on the desktop Mac's big screen!

Yeah! Nice one Steve, I've always liked the abstract paint splatter logos. Good to know we've got one for Puppy. Thanks!

Thanks! yeah, I saw one that was a photoshop but had to figure out how to do it in gimp...after much shading, retrying, bump mapping, etc., I'm pretty pleased with it...battleshooter wrote:Yeah! Here is another one that is more artsy, but with the same effect.
