Bluetooth on Puppy

#1 Post by ravensrest »

I just downloaded and frugally installed Fluppy013 on a SATA hard drive in a 3.2GHz P4 machine with 1 Gig of memory. It appears to work fine, and Midori works great after installing the files supplied by edoc.

The bluetooth configuration quickly finds both my Insignia Sport mp3 player and my Insignia bluetooth headset.

Now I have a couple of questions.

First, how does one direct the output of the audio card to the bluetooth dongle so one can listen to music in the headset?

Second, has anyone produced a complete pet for installing bluetooth on either Racy/Wary522 or Lucid531? I don't want a research project, just a simple file I can install and have work.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

My experiences:

I got my stereo Insignia bluetooth headphones working the way I wanted by using 'pulseaudio' to route the audio.

I was only able to get pulseaudio working in Lucid 525.

It was a rocky road...but works nice.
