The random deal engine will produce an unlimited variety of hands. The program will bid and play the other three hands with scoring to rubber. Written in the C++ language with direct access to the Xlib primitives for speed and compatibility, the program will also generate specific point count hands in the 0-28 point range.

I tried a lot of bridge programs; haven't had time yet to try this XContract Bridge.
The shareware bridge programs for M$ Windows aren't very good. I'm currently using three DOS bridge programs installed in DOSBox. DOSBox itself is a fairly small install in Puppy, and most DOS programs are compact. There are many links to old DOS programs, often with reviews and ratings. Examples:
http://www.the-underdogs.info/index.php
http://www.abandonia.com/index2.php
Capstone went out of business, so their GrandmasterChess and Bridgemaster are available. I enjoy both. Omar Sharif Bridge II is supposed to be top rated, but I get disgusted with it: it's programmed so your opponents rarely let you play a grand slam (they always overbid and go down). Also Bridge Olympiad is noteworthy.
Be sure to find and edit the DOSBox configuration file, and add lines to the end (the autoexec part) to create your C: drive. I just created a bunch of BAT files to start the different programs.
[edit: I am using MiPup2 puplet, with Wine. From the Wine database, Easy Bridge 4.0.2, free. Hard to find, got it here:

Makes some mistakes, but don't we all.]

Running 4.1.2 live iso and after installing the pet I cannot find it in menu after reboot jwm, while other pets always show up after jwm reboot.
Thanks in advance for your reply
