Microphone jack isn't working in Puppy b5.2.8

#1 Post by Evin45 »

I am running a full install of Puppy 5.2.8 on an IBM R50e laptop. My AlsaMixer is version 1.0.24.2
My microphone jack isn't working. When I bring up my AlsaMixer screen (capture) there is no level indicator above the MIC area. I also noticed that the left < and right > levels over CAPTURE are set very low 7 for each side.
I am a Newbe and the AlsaMixer Help doesn't go into detail. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you Ev

Run 'alsaconf' to find your sound card.
