it's about this thread :
http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... 528#951528
I found out it was still archived somewhere.
That thing was so robust I am tempted to run it again with qemu or busybox on my POS 64 bit Lenovo.

OK.....i wuz hopin' you were releasing a new version...!

I've had good success with an older AV Linux but should never have used it for my day to-day work.....somehow amidst updates and such i really did some irreparable damage. I installed the latest version of AV but can't boot the 64-bit version on my Lenovo S205...32-bit works but no sound (yet)....and i don't have a lot of free time lately. :( So you can see why i had my hopes up! 8)

It's for live softsynth usage for me. If i can't get the new version of AV working, I'll have to try the older AV....but if I could get music on Puppy, i'd be in"hound heaven!"

So, if iget some time to try PupItUp again and get the synths working (Zynaddsubfx, Bristol keyboards, etc.), I'll try to remember to post back.....probably not before summer, though. :?
