Before you jump the gun you better see if you can attach a file! I was really happy that it worked in Firefox yesterday but the attach script keeps saying "Invalid file type"

I filed a complaint, like someone would read it. Something like,

It is wonderful that html is now available users of Linux and Firefox, however the file attachment system no longer works and reports "invalid file type"
Puppy Linux...
It just works!

I sent a 375 kB .mp3 from my Yahoo mail to my Yahoo mail, from Mozilla in Windows 2000. I plan to try it from Puppy's Mozilla later today.

Okay, from Mozilla in Puppy: I sent the same mp3 file, of about 375 kB, from my Yahoo mail to my Yahoo mail, in two different messages.

First I mounted the Windows (NTFS) partition and then browsed to it in my Yahoo mail to attach the file before I sent it.

For the second message I dragged the mp3 file from the Windows partition to /my-documents in Puppy and attached it to the Yahoo mail from there. For good measure I attached a 45 kB jpeg, the one of the gull in Puppy, to the same message.

Both messages sent the attached file(s) without complaint. Both the mp3 file and the jpeg file opened in their default programs in Puppy when I clicked on them in Yahoo mail.

Yay it's fixed I can attach just about anything again and HTML too!

Works in Firefox 106
Works in Mozilla
That's all that matters
I actually got an e-mail response from my complaint today saying it should now be fixed.

Congratulations on your lack of IE I am sure Bill will grieve for your loss.
