ARM Platform for Smartbooks - will Puppy Linux play?

#1 Post by raffy »

The ARM platform for Smartbooks is now a reality with two commercial players.

Puppy 2 series (2.13-2.16) have performed well for low-power PCs like the eBox2300 and the Geode. Now it is being bumped up by Barry to 2.18 (Beta).

Will these developments help in porting Puppy Linux to ARM?

(Note that China has its MIPS platform.)

Porting Puppy Linux to the Arm Platform will be a breeze...Especially if you build "Woof" against Debian Lenny, all the support is already there..."out of the box"... :) .
